Growing up in beautiful California and watching all of the trendy, chic, stylish clothes hit the department stores inspired me to want to create clothes. In high school, the only way that I could afford to wear something trendy and new was to design and sew it myself. Pretty soon I was customizing clothing for my friends, family, and neighbors and getting paid for what I loved doing. I was creating prom dresses, cruise outfits, wedding gowns and everyday wear.

While attending community college and working full-time at Virginia’s Gift Shop at Knott’s Berry Farm, I was asked to make period costumes for the costume department. Soon after graduating with a Business Associates Degree, I got married, moved to the Northwest and had four beautiful children. When I held my first grandchild in my arms I knew my focus would then be children’s clothes! I have two grandsons and three granddaughters. My granddaughters, ages 1, 3 and 4, always come to my house looking for a new dress created just for them. It is a joy to see their faces light up as they slip on their favorite princess print design. I now make children’s boutique clothing, pageant wear and costumes. I get to work out of my home doing something that I love and cherish! What more can I ask for?
